OUR STORY
Like a true modern romance, we met through a matchmaking app in 2019. After months of chatting online, debating Game of Thrones theories, and sending way too many messages, we finally decided it was time to meet in person.
On April 22nd, 2019, we had our first date at P’Mac’s pub in Dublin, where we laughed, played an intense game of Jenga (no pressure!), and quickly realized we had way more in common than just good taste in Harry Potter. From that night on, our adventures together never stopped, and by August 2019, we made it official!
Fast forward to March 2020, and just five days before the pandemic lockdown, we moved in together—talk about a crash course in teamwork! Luckily, we not only survived but David convinced Marcela to watch 1,100 episodes of One Piece, proving that we were truly meant to be.
In 2024, we took the leap and moved to France, ready to start a brand-new chapter. Then, on a special Halloween weekend back in Dublin, David surprised Marcela with the proposal, making the city where it all began even more special.
Besides Harry Potter, another thing that brings us together is our love for sports! Marcela is a passionate football supporter (Vamos Cruzeiro!), while David is a devoted rugby fan (Allez Toulon!). Whether it’s cheering from the stands or yelling at the TV, we love sharing this passion and experiencing the highs (and occasional heartbreaks) of sports together.
From epic trips and unforgettable moments to endless laughter, love, and game days, our journey has been nothing short of amazing—and we can't wait to see what comes next!
